Automation and the Job Market
There are many jobs around the world that automation could take away. It is amazing
how technology has increased since the last decade. The question remains unanswered for a
couple of years back. Will robot or artificial intelligence (AI) take human employment? The
answer could be both yes and no. There are some jobs that a robot or automotive technology
would never replace humans. Jobs in the medical field, business-like accountant, Information
technologies, and many more still need human employment. However, automation may replace
some human employment, but there are jobs for the people that automotive could not replace
because not every job which machines can fulfill.
When hunting and gathering were our only requirements, the improvement of agriculture
did not imply the cease of existence as we knew it now, we evolved and adapted. The human
may evolve and adapt to the environment after AI takes jobs as well. The industrial revolution
did not conclude the outcome of unemployment battle. Rather, people invented greater jobs and
reinvented themselves with the assist of new technologies. If robots take half of the jobs, people
will be adapting to the new invention and more jobs will be created. Technology and innovation
make our lives effortless and benefit us do our jobs better. There are many jobs that humans
cannot do and technologies like machines, trucks, and etc. can do to make the workforce better,
easier, and safer. For example, jobs like recruitment, it is to find the best-fitted employee for the
company, now job screener technology made it easier for them to find an employee. Now, the
recruiter can focus more on their company and clients more than searching online for who
applied, who is good for the company, reading through resumes, or scheduling an interview
appointment, now all of the computers can do that. Automation can handle repetitive jobs to
make our work easy and stress-free.
In addition, the AI is not very creative like a human to do all the jobs. We humans have
to make robots or any innovation to make it perform a task. See, there is a job right there, the
technology department will grow even more. AI will not do jobs related to emotional
intelligence. Simply, machines will never understand our feelings and our emotions. Our grace to
react immediately in very creative methods is unmatched to any computer. “The auto-suggest
feature on your smartphone uses AI to predict the next word you want to type. It helps you type
your messages faster, but it cannot fully take over and chat with a companion by feeling,
