Leading is an important step that is accomplished by communicating, motivating,
inspiring, and encouraging employees towards a higher level of productivity. When finding an

Frederick Herzberg conducted research of employee motivation during the 1900’s which he
discovered people need growth, or stamina to works towards. If you ask any human being why
they don’t enjoy their job, you’ll hear the normal responses of my boss is annoying, or how there
is unnecessary rules that interrupt their happiness of enjoying their work place. He found that
people are motivated by some sort of achievement, as well challenging work, interesting, or even
increasing responsibilities. He found by doing so, it gives people a reason to be better. His
influenced a generation of scholars and managers, which showed how leading then brings you
right into controlling. He believes to lead with kindness, according to a U.K study,
companionship and recognition are more important than even high salaries in promoting
employee loyalty. Along with inspiration in the workplace, with well organizational structure,
having a cleaner work environment makes people more focused, creative, and resilient. Leaders
should make a point to remind their employees how their work is improving with positive
reinforcement. With a better work place, and a feel better environment, the employees will be
much easier to control when the work place is evaluating and monitoring their assignments.
