The MacBook or The Laptop?
Today, the advancements in the Information Communication Technology (ICT) have
reached its peak. There are hundreds or probably thousands of companies that manufacture the
gadgets like laptops, desktops, tablets, and smartphones. The invention of these gadgets has
tremendously transformed technology. The mushrooming of these companies implies that there
are so many brands of Personal Computers (PCs) from which users can choose. Some of the
commonly used devices are laptops and MacBooks. However, all devices have different
manufacturers and its operating systems, including its cons and pros. Despite this, MacBooks are
better devices than laptops because of its advantages in the leading technology brand, service,
security, productivity, price, and personal usage.
The MacBook is a type of the computer device, and Apple is a manufacturer. In fact, this
company is one of the leading technology brands in the company today. However, in the other
regular laptops, the manufacturing process is the collaboration between two or more companies
(Tanenbaum 38). Whereas Microsoft supplies the software, the other technology companies, like

Dell, HP, Samsung, and Toshiba, can manufacture some or all of the hardware parts as long as
they are compatible. Hence, MacBooks emerge better than other laptops.
One of the reasons why MacBooks remain superior to other laptops is because it is the
technology company, which has the best customer relation experience in the market. It is only in
Apple where any buyer is treated with utmost respect. Whenever any of the clients has a problem
with the product, they are free to seek the assistance of the company. Therefore, to be accessible
to its clients, the company has established a customer relations desk in all its branches, offices,
and stores distributed to all corners of the globe. In these places, there is a team of professionals
popularly known as geniuses. As their name suggests, the geniuses are people who have a sound
knowledge of all the Apple products. They are always available to attend to all the issues raised
by the clients, and it does not matter how complex they might be (Rogers and Roger 40).
