Introduction
Lowe’s is within Fortune’s top 50 United States companies and is the second largest
home improvement store in the world (behind Home Depot). Lowe’s runs 2,365 stores located
in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and employs more than 290,000 employees with 69-
89% of those being full-time workers. Lowe’s locations offer a wide variety of products from
appliances, lawn and garden, lumber, plumbing, and other products for everyday home
improvements. Most Lowe’s customers consist of homeowners, renters, homebuilders, and
commercial construction firms.
