Lowering or Raising the Drinking Age
The drinking age may vary depending on the place we live. It doesn’t
matter if it’s a developed country or not, but each of one has a law that
determines the age when drinking is permitted/legal. The United States is
one of those countries that have a minimum age of 21 for drinking legally.
Lowering or raising drinking age has been a very controversial topic but no
change has been made, however, lowering the legal drinking age may result
in better control of drunkenness situations and bad conduct in college
campuses.
The United States, is one of the 12 countries around the world that
have a minimum legal drinking age of 21 years old, and the highest
minimum legal drinking age of all countries. The 61% (115 countries) have a
drinking age of 18 and 19 years old.
Nowadays, when kids graduate from high school they have in average
seventeen to eighteen years of age. They are excited to live a new
