William Golding’s first novel Lord of The Flies is eventually a novel about the intrinsic
fiendishness that diseases all of us, and the insidiousness that flourishes in the dimness of man’s
heart. Master of the Flies can be broken into three sections. The first being the entry on the
island, the get-together, the foundation of principles and controls, the decision of Ralph as a
boss, the Coral Island like observations “bloom and the organic product became together on a
similar tree” and the trust of safeguard.
The story starts on a Pacific Island where an obscure measure of English school young
men matured somewhere around six and twelve have been left stranded after their plane was shot
down. They are amidst a nuclear war, and despite the fact that Golding does not intricate we see
that a great part of the world has been obliterated and the youngsters were being cleared. With all
grown-ups on board dead, the kids are at first overjoyed at their newly discovered opportunity. It
is on the shoreline that we first meet two of our fundamental characters, Ralph and Piggy. Ralph,
a tall kid who is “assembled like a boxer” and Piggy who is overweight, wears glasses and has
asthma. The two young men then go over the conch which Piggy trains Ralph to utilize and they
