In performing our assignment, we had to take the help and guideline of some respected
persons, who deserve our greatest gratitude. Without the helping from them, this whole assignment
would not have been possible and success. The completion of this assignment gives us much
Pleasure.
First and foremost, we would like to show our gratitude to Professor Im Bounheng who
gave us the golden opportunity to do this wonderful project on the topic Lobby, which also helped

us in doing a lot of Research and give a good guideline for assignment throughout numerous
consultations. We came to know about so many new things and we are really thankful to them.
Second, we would like to thank the university of Cambodia for providing us a good teacher
and a good learning place.

enthusiasm and invaluable assistance to me during our hard time until it passed.

Abstract
Lobbying is a crucial part of moving towards social change. Unlike campaigning, aimed at
reaching large numbers of activists or the general public, lobbying is an activity aimed at reaching
a small number of key decision makers on a particular issue. It is the duty of a lobbyist to serve
the interests of their client or stakeholders, and advise lawmakers and their staff about the effect
any new legislation or regulation would have on the people served by the lobbyist.
This article takes up three related aspects of lobbying. First, it is why does lobbying exist.
