ACT 1
1. Othello position in this society is a Moor and he is a great warrior and because of his good deeds
he is promoted and offered a lordship. People see Othello as a good officer with great military
skills. We see that Othello is in love with Desdemona.
2. Brabantio is warning Othello that since Desdemona has deceived her own father, she may very
well betray her husband. He could be doing it to try to help Othello but there is no truth that
Desdemona would ever show unloyalty to Othello. Since Brabantio is Desdemona father Othello
