The goal of this process is to give feedback in order to assure continuous improvement across a
variety of criteria that it is intended to provide a measure of company and manager performance,
potential problems within the company, and as a road map to transforming a company’s
organizational culture. For the past two years, the RTZ Company GEO, Ronald Zeitland, has
been working to improve workplace culture, by using Wheeling’s consulting firm to survey and
score the managers. Zeitland requires employees to be honest in grading managers. This survey
can be used to highlight areas for improvement by pointing out the strengths and weaknesses of
the manager and the company.
After 2 years, Despite improvements overall. CEOs Ronald Zeitland and Carole Wheeling were
confused by Cam’s survey results. While, Zeitland view Cam as a hard worker, intelligent
and dedicated manager but his survey results are disappointing. The important problem now
for Zeitland is how to help Cam improve his scores on his management skills and job
performance in the coming year.
