Society has a way of making us think that we are not really being taken over by the things
that we are addicted to, but we are ultimately too blinded to realize it. Today, the internet
has become a crutch to many people in different cultures, and it “appears” to be the worst
in American culture and western societies, but the statistics may actually surprise you.
Students cannot even study or take a test without relying on search engines and vigorous
internet surfing as if this is the only way they will be able to survive in college. Lixuan
