Casting Vision and Developing SMART Goals
There are several key areas in my life that I currently feel most satisfied and successful
with. These areas are my spiritual life, my family life, and my finances. The areas in
which I am least satisfied are work/career, personal health, and my personal relationship
with my significant other. I believe that I am least satisfied in these areas due to my
insecurities and lack of motivation to excel further than I have in the past as well as a lack
of faith that the Lord will provide what I need to help me grow in these areas of
weakness. These weaknesses are the areas that I am currently focusing the most energy
and prayer on for self-improvement.
Spiritual Life
My Vision:
To stay humble, focused on the Lords vision and will for my life, to grow spiritually
closer to God, and to be a better human than I was yesterday.
My SMART Goal:
To set my alarm 15 minutes earlier than I normally do to allow time for daily
scripture and devotional reading and time for a daily prayer. Also, at the end of the
day I will set aside an additional 10-15 minutes for time to prayer and write in my
gratitude journal reflections and ways that I can work on being a better servant for the
