The things I know about Jesus would not amount to much more than normal ideas about him. He was an
interesting person who lived the normal life of a human, yet he was not a normal human, as we
understand one to be. God, not man, planted the seed in a virgin woman to bring about a way for God
and all heaven to learn about human temptations and teach the world about God’s love and promises.
With this said I will try and relate what I feel I know about Jesus.
Jesus was born to Mary and Joseph in the town of Bethlehem, which was far from their home in Galilee.
The town of Bethlehem was over crowded and they had to sleep in a stable type shelter. While there,
Mary gave birth to the Son of God, while a star like no other formed in the night sky. Joseph knowingly
took this child that was not his and cared for him. Jesus was taken to Nazareth for a while to keep him
safe from harm. Around the age of 12-13 Jesus began his life as a teacher of the word of God. He stayed
with his family and grew in the knowledge of human life and understanding of his purpose, as foretold
by the prophets. He later (around the age of 30) went to be baptized by his cousin John the Baptist.
A/er the baptism Satan tested him in the wilderness of the desert. Satan was trying to prove to him that
he was only human and weak, he failed. Jesus proved his love for his heavenly father, God. A/er this
time of testing, his travels and his teachings of God’s plan for the souls of man began. He chose men to
be his disciples to help in his teaching. These men le/ their world of family and work to follow him. In
all, Jesus had twelve men who devote their lives to him and his teachings yet had many followers.
During this time of teaching many miracles were performed by Jesus and even his chosen twelve worked
wonders in the name of God. Changing water to wine, healing the sick, speaking in tongues of many
nations, walking on water and calming seas were a few of these miracles recorded in the Bible.
Even with this impressive life of Jesus his most important job was to die a horrible death, for all mankind.
He came to show people the way to heaven and was killed by those he tried to save. Those closest to
him betrayed him, some out of fear and one for money. He was tortured and was beli4led by soldiers,
the King, priest and common people on his way through the streets. He carried the cross that he would
