Dear Mr. Grewe,
I come from a family of 6, have 2 brothers and one sister. My brothers are both at the
American school, one in tenth grade and the other in fifth, and my sister is currently
studying at Brown University. I’m constantly doing sport. I spend a lot of my time running
or at the gym or boxing; I even wake up early some days to do this, depending on my
workload. However skiing is the sport I am most crazy about. I compete at a club in
Madrid and ski around 100 days a year. It is so important to me that I choose to be
drowned by work, only so that I can miss a few days of school a year and go to races, and
I’m sure that I want to continue this in college.
I usually quite enjoy English. I love reading, I used to spend all my free time reading
fiction books, however this was when I was younger. For the last couple of years I have
not quite found the time to finish a book, always too preoccupied with school or sport. Of
course I read the occasional book for school, or during the holidays. I consider that a
strength, and I would say that for a foreign speaker I have a good vocab thanks to reading
