Dear Past Self,
To be successful in this class you must first always come to class, If you miss one class you
will be lost and confused on what the professor and the students are working on. Don’t be afraid
to ask questions as soon as you don’t understand something because if you don’t you well end up
forgetting exactly what you didn’t understand if you don’t get clarification right away. Take
advantage of your professors office hours and go and bother him with as many questions as you
can to make sure you understand the material that was taught. Use Group Me to connect with the
professor and your fellow classmates when out of class and not during offices hours. This may
be the second most helpful tool when you feel like you don’t have anything to do and when your
are stuck on your homework. You can ask if you are suppose to be doing anything and get help
with problems on homework to help you get unstuck and able to finish. The most helpful tool
you will be using is blackboard, you will need to look at everyday at least 3 times a day, your
professor may not always tell you to do your homework so if you check everyday you won’t
