Dear Future Student,
Microeconomics is a course that fundamentally breaks down how the decisions of
consumers affect markets. It also sheds a light on what influences people to make decisions.
Whether you are a Business major or a Theatre major, economics is applicable to all trades and
should at least be learned at the fundamental level. I really enjoyed the course, and like anything
you do in life: you get out what you put in.
This class has taught me what makes influences people on how they spend their money
and how those decisions affect the markets. Fundamentally, I learned about Supply and
Demand. Supply and Demand is a phrase used frequently, but unfortunately not everyone truly
understands it. Terms like Monopoly, which I just thought was a board game, now makes sense
