In searching for an article on legal issues in employment, I came across the ever
increasing issues employers contend with such as overtime rules, LGBT issues, and the largest
issue facing employers across the nation, sexual harassment. In the age of the #metoo movement,
sexual harassment has touched not only the entertainment industry but also politics, the media
industry, and the private and public sector industry.
Due to the onslaught of accusers, which have characteristically been women, the
perception is that more and more men are getting away with harassment and more and more
women are not being believed (www.pewsocialtrends.org/2018/04/04/sexual-harassment-at–
work-in-the-era-of-metoo). During this national survey, it is believed the focus on sexual
harassment can and will pose additional challenges in the workplace. How will or can they, both
men and women, interact in the workplace and work towards the company’s goals without the
