• Left hemisphere:
– seems to control language, writing, logical
thought, analysis, and mathematical abilities,
– processes information sequentially,
– can speak.
• Right hemisphere:
– controls emotional expression, spatial perception,
recognition of faces, patterns, melodies, and
emotions,
– processes information globally,
– cannot speak.
