What is Alternative Dispute Resolution?
•When the method of resolution of the dispute chosen
by the parties is other than litigation in a Law Court, in
the form of Mediation, Negotiation, Conciliation,
Arbitration, Lok Adalat, Online Arbitration, then it is
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
•ADR opens the way in the field of business and tends to
solve the matter more efficiently and effectively,
because it is basically a dispute settlement through
negotiations
•The purpose of ADR is ensure that the contract
operates properly, and in the eventuality of its breach,
to afford a time-saving and cost-effective dispute
resolution
