Leadership Theory Writing I
I am a leader by example. I love to be in the fight with my people and directly motivate
my team to achieve a common goal. If I am not willing to do what I ask of my team, then I am
not fit to lead; this is my leadership philosophy. I believe in faith, trust and brothers/sisters in
arms. If I am to lead, I will get to know my people and bestow a foundation of trust. This
philosophy will be crucial moving forward as a leader not only in simulation, but real life. The
importance of philosophy lies within a leader’s acknowledgment of his/her strength, and their
understanding of the best way to utilize it. I have established my philosophy and reflect on it
before stepping in front of my team. I will stick with it always and lead by it.
