What is Leadership? I believe “leadership” is a very important trait that is required to become a
successful individual. Other words that are synonymous with “leadership” include authority,
direction, and initiative. These words show how leadership is a form of power and control and
with that type of responsibility, a person must learn to successfully handle situations with
efficiency.
Successful leaders hold themselves to a higher standard and is willing to admit and overcome
their weaknesses for the benefit of themselves and the individuals they are mentoring. Time
management, excellent communication skills and prioritizing goals are necessary attributes.
