Introduction
Chris Gardner is an Entrepreneur, Author, Philanthropist and single parent whose work has been
recognized by many esteemed organizations (Chris Gardner Biography). In 1987, Gardner founded
his own brokerage firm, Gardner Rich LLC based out of Chicago, IL. He was the CEO of the
brokerage firm until he sold his share in a multi-million dollar deal to become the founder and
CEO of Christopher Gardner International Holdings. Today, Gardner is involved with
homelessness initiatives assisting families to stay intact, and assisting homeless man and women
who are employed but still cannot get by (Chris Gardner Biography).
