I have followed the order of paragraphs that was outlined by the email, so that each paragraph
in this essay follow the same pattern as the on attached in the email.
Adam and Bob committed a crime against Richard by stealing his precious stones and rings.
They are both guilty do far for the robbery committed in Richard’s property.
The surveillance cameras were inside Richard’s property and the police have every legal right to
examine them if they have Richard’s consent, which they did. This evidence can completely be
used against both Adam and Bob as it was obtained in a legal manner.
The police have the legal right to arrest Adam, even if he is in his own home, as they have a legal
warrant that allows them to do so and because Adam willingly opened the door for them,
therefore giving them legal grounds to apprehend him within his home. However, their first
mistake was to place him under custody within his home and start questioning him without first
reading him his Miranda rights. These rights have to be read to anyone who is going to be
confronted with a custodial interrogation. Since the police wanted to specifically ask Adam about
the burglary, a crime, while placed on custody, and they did not read him his rights, anything that
he might have said cannot be admitted as evidence. The second illegal action they took was
