There are multiple things to consider when trying to resolve a dispute, the first thing is
the legal form of business that is involved in the dispute. This will help determine what action
should be taken to resolve the dispute. It should be determined if the dispute should be taken to
court, or if there is an alternative dispute resolution, and what that may be. In order to make this
decision accurately, the costs and benefits of traditional litigation and alternative dispute
resolution need to be weighed and then a decision can be made.
Legal Form of Business
In Richmond, Washington, there was a business dispute between family members
regarding the family business, Paramus software. When one of the sons, Robert Sipko, told his
