There are many things that people do not realize about transgender children, teens, and
adults. Being transgender is a very complex situation to be in. Transgender individuals go
through things such as depression, bullying, being timid and self-conscious, and being confused.
The biggest thing with them is that have gender identity disorder is the want to change and be the
gender that they know they are in their heart and mind. A big deal of the well-being and outcome
of these children, teens, and adults depend a on their families support or lack of support.
Transgender individuals lack legal protection. The federal government’s Equal employment
has recently looked into including transgender people under existing non-discrimination
