The global problem of “Fake News” has spread to every country in the
world. The global problem of fake news is that countries are able to say that
anything that does not agree with their priorities or narrative is fake news. This
has been causing wide gaps between people of different views. In South Korea,
it is causing problems and marginalizing groups of people. One issue that
students face when they are from another country is that they might not know
what is really going on in the country. Instead of calm discourse and discussions
about the problems that face the country of South Korea, it is replaced with
hateful speech and half-truths. In some cases, it is just completely false
information that is portrayed as fact. Real problems like poverty, suicide, and
broken families are being ignored because of the loud noise that is being caused
