Lab Report
Purpose- To create a battery with enough amperage to light a lightbulb
Warnings- Use Safety Goggles when practicing. H2SO4 is very acidic and can eat away at clothing
or burn tissue.
Chemicals: 6 M H2SO4, distilled water.
Materials: wire cutters and needle nose pliers. Copper wire, lead wire, 10 test tubes of the same
size and a test tube holder.
Observations: First, cut the copper wiring into 2”-3” long strands and make 11 strands. Cut lead
