1. INTRODUCTION
Distillation is a process of heating a liquid until it reaches its boiling point, then
condensing and collecting the vapors.
One of the physical characteristics used to identify a compound is its boiling point.
Distillation is a technique for purifying a chemical by separating it from a non-volatile or even
