Killer Angels Book Review
Killer Angels by Michael Shaara accurately recounts the
Battle of Gettysburg. The story is told through the several of
the Civil War’s most notable commanders. The Book is both
entertaining as well as factual account of the most famous and
bloody battle of the American Civil War.
The story takes place in Pennsylvania in 1863 during the
height of the Civil War. After failing to stop General Robert E.
Lee and the Army of Northern Virginia, President Lincoln appoints
General George Meade as Commander of the Army of the Potomac.
