Executive Summary
Keda Industrial Company Limited (Keda) is among the world leaders in manufacturing machinery and offering
complete solution for ceramics, building materials, natural & artificial stone processing as well as new power—
clean coal gasification. The company is listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange and is a pioneer in both product as well
as business innovation generating $200 million in revenue in 2009. Keda has successfully deployed its ERP solution
in a country where 80% of ERP implementations failed. This case study documents its ERP initiative from
conception to its deployment and offers a look at various factors and practices that have contributed to its success.
