Evaluaon of Team 10’s Services
Web Server
I went to www.team10c.com from my own XP machine, and was taken to Team 10c’s website. His
website had a black 10C on it so that I could verify it was in fact taking me to his website and not
someone else’s.
Remote Desktop
I was able to logon to Team 10’s XP machine using Remote Desktop from my own XP machine. All I had
to do was launch Remote Desktop and type in his IP address (17.69.81.4), and used the username he
provided ‘Zakrey’ coupled with the password ‘Password1’. Once I hit enter I gained access to his
machine, meaning that he successfully set up Remote Desktop.
DNS
I veri3ed that DNS was working correctly on this network. I was able to check my own website
(www.team6c.com), that I knew was working correctly, while I was using Remote Desktop to access his
XP machine. If DNS hadn’t been working, I would not have been able to see my own website.
Email Server
I went to h5ps://www.team10c.com/owa and was able to logon with the same username and password
I used for Remote Desktop. When I logged on I was able to see an email from Team6c and an email in the
outbox to Team6c. I also got onto my own XP machine and checked my mail server and I veri3ed that I
did receive his email. Since emails were sent successfully and received successfully, I know that the email
