PSY 103 Journal Assignments Overview
For this course you will complete three journal assignments. The journal assignments
may include completing a survey, watching a video, reading a short article, or writing on
a topic related to Human Relations course material. You will be asked to answer 2–4
short answer questions. More detailed instructions and a grading rubric will be provided
for each journal assignment.
Information regarding the assignment will be released on the Monday preceding the
week it is due to give you time to complete the assignment.
Journal One—The assignment will be released on 9/14 and will be due by 9/20.
Journal Two—The assignment will be released on 10/26 and will be due by 11/1.
Journal Three—The assignment will be released on 11/30 and will be due by 12/6.

It is important to submit all journals. They will be graded separately and you will receive
feedback on each assignment. Your scores on each journal will be averaged to create
your Final Journal score worth 20% of your grade.
Submitting Your Journals
1. All journals must be typed and loaded electronically.
2. Please type all journals using 12 point font
3. I will tell you how many paragraphs are required when each journal is posted
