Joel Spring Reaction Paper
Coming into and singing up for this class I had really no expectations. I never
really noticed any oppression going on anywhere and lived in a somewhat oblivious and
idealistic life. My eyes have really been opened since singing up for this class and
especially since the Joel Spring book. In this book the different chapters point out the
racism that happens/happened among different cultures in America.
Each chapter told of the oppression and racism cultures experienced. These
cultures include Native Americans, African Americans, Asian Americans, and Hispanics.
