1a) React to the following statement: “A good resume will get me the job”. If you agree,
explain in detail, if you disagree, explain in detail.
“A good résumé” will get me into the realm of potential candidates for a job, but not the
position itself. In other words, a résumé is the first of few steps that “will get me the job”. What
it is undeniable is the importance of a well redacted résumé. If a résumé captures the a ention
of the reviewer, the interviewer will call the candidate. Résumé is a live instrument that must be
updated, changed, and transformed according to its needs.
