Jimmy Carter was the 39th president of the United States. He was raised in
Plains,Georgia. He joined the U.S Navy and served on the submarines.On his 2nd day
in office,he pardoned all Vietnam war draft evaders. During his term, he established the
department of Energy and Education. He also established a national energy policy that
included conversation,price control and new technology.He battled with high inflations,
slow economic growth and unemployment remaining high. When he was not dealing
with domestic issues, he went after the Camp David Accord which was a pair of political
agreements signed by Eygtian and Isreali president which directly led to the 1979
Egypt-Israel peace treaty. His major setback was the Iranian crisis which led to the
