Case 45: Jet Blue IPO
Jet blue is a relatively new low-fare Airline predominantly operating out of JFK
international airport in New York. By going public and offering an IPO there are several
advantages and disadvantages as well as several ways to value the shares.
When launching an IPO there is a whole list of prerequisites that a company must follow
in order to qualify. Such as, generating a business plan, gather qualified management teams,
assembly a board of directors, prepare financial statements, performance measures, and projects.
