As the world is changing, there come great leaders in its path. Today’s world is so
complex and fast changing that we cannot just stick to one definition of the leadership. Effective
leaders can be described as giving a vision to the team-members and developing the path for the
followers to achieve maximum output. A leader’s background, life experiences, and daily
communications define his or her leadership style. The difference between a good leader and a
great leader is his or her ability to adapt to change. Richard Draft of The Leadership Experience
can best describe leadership as, “Leadership involves influence; it occurs among people; those
people intentionally desire significant changes; and the changes reflect purposes shared by
leaders and followers” (Draft, 2018).
