Through studying the case of Janet Janitor business, I have found the company
has a lot of financial problems. The financial irregularities or employees hidden
may cause they engaging in accounting fraud. In this case, the horizontal analysis,
vertical analysis, ratio analysis and other index will be used to check the
company’s accounts balance sheet and income statement. I will focus on looking
for the dollar change trend to provide what accounts require more investigation.
In addition, I noticed that there is a big management oversight happened in this
company. The administrative assistant has too much financial right and she could
manipulate the whole accounting part. There are no external or internal audit
