It’s Ok To Feel Grief.
Many of us grieve whenever we’ve lost a loved one or because of an unfortunate situation we
might go through in our lives. There are different ways the people grieve, and there isn’t a time
limit in the grieving process. People may grieve or only a few days, a few weeks, months, or
even years depending on how close they were to the person they lost. Some of us lost family
members and friends due to the COVID-19 virus, or other life threatening conditions.
In the beginning of the grieving process some people are in denial about their loved one passing
away. Most of the time this happens because we become so shocked when we find out about it
and it can be hard to process this right after being told that. Some of us also experience feeling
numb throughout your body or have a feeling like there’s a lump in your throat whenever we
think about the person that passed away, sometimes we don’t always cry right after we find out
the news, we sometimes are in such shock that we don’t know how to react to it especially if you
had a real close bond with them. These steps that
There are some people that might react to the death of the loved one with anger, they may
become angry because they weren’t able to tell the person goodbye, blame other family members
or the doctors that took care of the person before they die, they may also be mad at the person
that passed on for leaving without saying goodbye to them and causing them to have a lot of
emotional pain due to the person leaving them.
All of these ways of grieving that I mentioned aren’t ways that everybody grieves, these are just
some of the common ways people may grieve. Some people may even be happy that the person
passed on because they know that the person isn’t in any pain anymore and they’re happy to not
have to go through what they went through right before they passed on. These ways aren’t
abnormal ways of grieving, but sometimes a person may need to talk to a therapist or psychiatrist
to learn how to accept that the person is gone and to find closure. I’m not saying that they should
forget about the person, but they’ll have a think about the person in a positive way, whether it be
