IPIP Personality Assessment Brief
IPIP Personality Assessment is a measure of the top five personality traits that are the most
commonly used models of personality in academic psychology. Traits that are assessed on are
extroversion, emotional stability, agreeableness, conscientiousness, and intellect/imagination.
This was an intricate questioner and the wording was problematic and had to read it carefully to
understand how to answer the questions. My results were not surprising and explained my
personality appropriately. First just by reading the different traits of the assessment the name of
the traits was slightly confusing on what they were measuring. Each trait had its own description
which helped to understand what each trait meant to myself and how it explained my personality
appropriately.
The first trait was extroversion, I scored lower and this made perfect sense to me. Individuals
who score lower tend to be shut-ins and individuals who score higher are outgoing and social.
