Media Observation

The Fairly Odd Parents is a popular TV program shown on Nickelodeon. The show

revolves around the everyday adventures of Timmy Turner, a boy is awarded two fairy

godparents named Cosmo and Wanda. The observation was made on their episode titled “The

Fairly OddBaby”. In this episode Cosmo gives birth to a baby fairly, and throughout the

adventure Timmy had to protect the baby from other fairies who sought out to use the baby for

its powers. There were seven harmful acts during the forty minute program. However, the level

of violence in the program was reasonable. Harmful acts were geared to the innocent as villains’
