Introduction:
The article “Threshold effects of energy consumption, technical innovation, and
supply chain management on enterprise performance in China’s manufacturing
industry” will be reviewed in this paper. The implications of energy usage,
technology innovation, and supply chain management on the productivity of Chinese
manufacturing enterprises are investigated in this article. In China’s manufacturing
industry, a number of criteria impact enterprise performance. Supply chain
management is one of them, and it has a large threshold influence. Furthermore,
China’s manufacturing industry has improved its performance in the last ten years,
moving from low to high energy consumption. However, even if enterprises
consume more energy, it is difficult to improve their performance in the absence of
technical innovation.
