Lisa Lewis works for the United States Department of Veteran Affairs as Director of
Operation/Office Manager of the Vet Center in Orlando, Florida; she shares her views of a
purchasing and supply manager during an interview with Daniel James Jr… Purchasing and
supply management is a position of great important in the business environment. Mrs. Lewis is
responsible for managing the Vet Center office, which handles nine full time counselor and two
hundred veteran men and women that travel to the Vet Center each month for treatment as
outpatient clients. Vet Center mission is to develop a trust and bond within the local veteran
community and give the resources that can help veteran and their families gain a better
understanding of the Vet Center services. The Orlando Vet Center provides customer care and
