Please re”ect on your experiences where communication has met these
needs and then share examples for 3 out of the 4 needs. Be specific in label–

1. I’m the type of guy that thinks I’m not communicating even though I
am. Because I am a quiet, reserved person I find that I communicate
using a lot of body language and facial expressions. My eyes tell most
of the story.
When I think of physical needs, I think of the love language of touch. I
am not someone who communicates through touch. In fact, I don’t like
it when people communicate with me in this way. I prefer to keep a dis-
tance and communicate differently. I am terrible when it comes to giv–
ing my condolences through a hug or expressing my a0ection through
a hug or kiss. In another situation, I’ve seen an emotion like anger re-
sult in physical altercations. This is also not me. I don’t express emo-
