The results of my experimentation with one on one conversation were fantastically
positive. Instead of my older and awful method of drawing up a plan and executing it as if every
conversation where it was just me with a friend or acquaintance was some sort of complicated
formula. Instead every conversation flows smoother, and I focus more on what they are saying
rather than scrambling to create a continuation of the conversation in my head. The results of
my experience are better initiation, smoother conversation, and an elevation in the meaning of
the exchange.
Initiation had always been one of the easier things for me just because of my disdain for
awkward silence. I would start a conversation with a stranger in an elevator if I felt the situation
