Integration: Improving Employee Retention Rates
The topic that I have chosen to write on is improving employee retention. After the
economic downturn many employers had the mentality that employees should be happy that they
had a job and should not complain about any work issues or shortcomings. Now that the
economy has more jobs people once again have options and employers need to make sure that
they improve their employee retention rates so that employees are happy and stay. High
employee turnover is very expensive and lowers employee morale. There are many things that
employers can do to improve retention. I have chosen this topic because I think that it is
extremely important for employees and employers. This helps save companies a lot of money
that comes with high turnover rates and is beneficial for employees for their work and attitude
