1.1 INTRODUCTION

As the globe is affected by the pandemic, COVID-19 crisis made the global communities

experience unexpected challenges abruptly disrupting the implementation of Sustainable

Development Goals and impeding years of progress. The crisis can be noticed in all fields and

sectors of the economy worldwide (Cernev et al, 2020). If the globe had been on track to

accomplish the 2030 Agenda, better preparation to deal with the pandemic would have been

ensured. The Sustainable Development Goals adopted in 2015 consist of seventeen goals

focusing on achieving sustainable development. These goals aim at supporting a number of

aspects of human advancement and addressing issues concerning environment. Although the

SDGs are built on the partnerships of member stated for the accomplishment the outbreak of

virus has completely transformed the present emphasis of world development. This report

analyzes how the pandemic is having an effect on the productivity of UN SDG towards its goals.

1.2 ANALYSIS

The pandemic demonstrated that collecting the date in a right way can take through the

appropriate responsive actions to the crisis. In designing the support programme it is essential to

determine social and economic impacts and based on it, actions can be taken effectively. The
