Information technology in Accounting education
Abstract: The development of information technology exerts a tremendous
influence to the educational concept and learning styles of accounting. The
information technology is more and more popular in accounting education. The
application of information technology in accounting education can increase the
teaching effectiveness, and also the application of information technology in
accounting education has a positive effects on students. Because of the information
technology enhance the study interest and the understanding of the concept of
accounting knowledge for the students, it improves the teaching quality and teaching
efficiency.

Along with the development of modern information technology, the influence of
application of information technology on the notion of education and learning styles
are growing. Technology has a significant impact in the accounting field. Accounting
has developed a lot, and it’s no longer simple accounting. According to Roberts
(2007), coming along with the increase of technology application, more and more
requirements related with a wider range of knowledge and skills for the accountant
compared with the prior ones. According to Roberts (2007), Everyone who is in the
accounting field must have related skills in using the technology actually than before.
