The Industry
This chapter presents the analysis of the industry and the basis of the different competitors
that served as the foundation of the study. The chapter begins with the brief overview in the
industry in terms of the historical background and the products it offers. Furthermore, this chapter
presented the trends and growth patterns that have existed within the industry and showed the list
of the competitors and their strengths and weaknesses. The last part is the profitability ratio which
explains how profitable the companies in the Philippines are in this industry.
