QuickPay Creative Brief: Financially Free, Financially Teen
COMPANY BACKGROUND:
QuickPay is a financial service that gives consumers of online retail the option to use
their platform instead of credit cards for transactions. In doing so, they have attracted
shoppers that prefer not to provide retailers with credit card information. Additionally,
QuickPay provides the option to send or receive money from friends or family, as well as
the option to use its services for financial compensation. With the launch of the project,
Financially Free, Financially Teen, they hope to accurately advertise their services to a
larger demographic.
CHALLENGE/OBJECTIVE:
With this project, QuickPay aims to expand their demographic to the ages of teenagers,
ranging from ages 12-17, while also promoting their overlooked services.
TARGET AUDIENCE:
Our current audience is centered around adults, however our target audience ranges
from the ages of 12-17. This project will be catering to the interests of teenagers who
seek independence and financial flexibility, without the complications of credit or the
oversight of a parental figure. Omitting gender, we will center our focus on the financial
desires of any 12-17 year old working a part time job or relying upon the flexibility of
their parents, or guardian’s, finances. Since these teens are seeking a sense of
independence, approaching them with the use of an authoritative figure, such as a
parent or teacher, will turn them away from Quickpay’s services. Therefore, we can
conclude that this demographic will be drawn to the influences of friends, classmates,
celebrities or online trends.
COMPETITION:
Our three biggest competitors Cashapp, Venmo and PayPal. Similar to us, they offer
sending money to friends and family and using their services to receive financial
