Imagery and Symbolism in Three Journeys
Paradoxical and inspirational languages are oftentimes found in Robert Frost’s
poem as a reflection of his rough and miserable life. Visual imagery and symbolisms are
utilized frequently in Frost poem, “Acquaint With The Night”, “Stopping By Woods on a
Snowy Evening”, and “The Road Not Taken”. By exploring three journeys in these
poems, the narrators are choosing and overcoming their own obstacle in life.
